Vintage Easter Blog Hop with Joan

Once again Joan from Anything Goes  Here is hosting a blog party and this one is The Vintage Easter Blog Hop ~ so hop around today and visit all of Joans guests as they share their love for Vintage Easter Goodies!!

I haven't had my Easter decor out for quite a few years so when Joan talked about hosting a  party, I was excited to pull out some boxes to remind myself what was in them.

I had fun looking through the box and started setting things out on my dining room table ...

Plastic Candy Containers and a soft little chick ...

Oh I so love these ... a pair of real eggs painted and decorated as ladies and their "Easter Bonnet" ...

A pull toy candy container with the original contents and a cardboard candy container Made in Japan ...

And good ole' Dennison Easter Seals :) ...

OLD sugar egss than when opened, their is a treat inside.  Obviously, these were saved and never opened.

I love the graphic on the candy box ...

My panorama egg which SADLY is starting to fall apart ~ well, so am I LOL!

Well thanks so much for stopping by to visit and see some of my little vintage Easter treasures ~ they are specal to me and I hope you enjoyed you visit.

Don't forget to stop over Joans blog at Anything Goes Here for a list of other folks sharing their treasures.

Hi Judi,
Looks like a lot of fun to get out your Easter decorations and revisit all of the treasures inside. I love the real eggs painted like ladies with their Easter bonnets and the chick cardboard candy container. The sugar eggs always amaze me how they survive year after year.
Have fun displaying everything.

Hi Judi,
I see that you are a fellow Pennsylvania girl. I live in Pittsburgh. You truly have a wonderful display of Easter treasures. I too have one of those little egg laddies in her bonnet--I think I have a bunny as well. I had forgotten all about them. I need to hurry and display them. Your sugared eggs are just beautiful and the cardboard cand container just might be my favorite :) I really enjoyed my visit to your blog and I am sure to be back for more inspiration. Have a Blessed Easter,
Mimi~

Your vintage Easter is so wonderful. I had one of those panoramic sugar eggs. I am so surprised you and others have saved them. We threw them out because of the sugar. What a great idea to save them.

Judi, your collection is amazing! I love all of the plastic yellow bunnies, and those bonnet ladies too. I have a couple of those plastic birds, like the yellow one and the white one, and I don't know how to use them, because they won't stand up. How do you display them? I love them because they're so Springy looking, but they just fall over all the time! Any ideas?
Happy Easter!

I guess I was late for that party. But I do like the feather tree. I have the same bad habit. I luv vintage ornaments. From the Victorian to the 1940's. What a great collection you do have...Julian

Hi Joan,
Your comment on my post made ME laugh out loud! This hop has been so much fun because it has brought back so many memories from my childhood. I love your painted eggs with the faces...I think my Mom did that one year and Dennison labels!!! I haven't thought about them in a long time. One page of those would be a reward for doing some little chore at home. Thanks for showing all of your great stuff..it was fun visiting here!
